During our family vacation at Galicia Guesthouse, we truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. The hosts, especially Adriano, made everyone feel right at home, ensuring our four-year-old felt comfortable. The view from our balcony overlooking the river was lovely, and the convenience of parking right outside was a plus. The guesthouse is perfectly situated, only a two-minute walk to the river beach at Caniçada Dam. It was great for us, as we enjoyed kayaking and just lounging by the water. Adriano even helped arrange a guided exploration of the fabulous Peneda-Gerês National Park, which added a fun educational twist to our getaway. Breakfast was satisfying, and the nearby town offered a range of restaurants to suit all tastes. While we only had two nights, the experience left us wanting more family time here. If you're a family looking for cozy accommodations and outdoor adventures, Galicia Guesthouse might just be your perfect spot!
